The Myofascial Trigger Points Set

MTrP Set of 2.

This set will assist you to quickly identify location of trigger points, as well as the associated muscles. It can work equally well as a reference point for your own use, and as a point of basic MTrP education with the patient. It has been specifically designed to resonate, with the average patient’s knowledge of anatomy and physiology. This does not make “the uninitiated” an expert on MTrP, but it will provide your patient with enough grasp of the subject, to have a better informed consultation moving forwards.

This set is sorted into two artworks; the upper body anterior/posterior, and the lower body anterior/posterior. They are not sold separately, only as the full set of 2.

The Myofascial Trigger Points are discrete, hyperirritable areas within muscles that can cause pain, stiffness, and limited range of motion. They are characterized by the presence of taut bands, localized tenderness, and referred pain patterns, and are often associated with muscle overuse, injury, or repetitive strain. MTrPs can be classified into active and latent types, with active trigger points causing spontaneous pain and latent trigger points causing pain only when pressed.
