Dermatome chart illustrating the collaborative relationship between dermatomes and cutaneous nerve innervation.

A vibrant and engaging dermatomes chart, that shows the collaborative relationship between dermatomes and cutaneous nerve innervation. It will assist you in diagnosing conditions related to nerve damage, injury, or diseases affecting specific dermatomes. To ensure detailed and clear representation of both the dermatomes and the cutaneous nerves, we have separated them on the chart through color coded numbering, where dermatomes are visualised on the left side and nerves to the right.

Each spinal segment corresponds to a specific region of the body, with cervical dermatomes covering the neck and upper limbs, thoracic dermatomes covering the trunk, lumbar dermatomes covering the lower back and thighs, and sacral dermatomes covering the legs and pelvic region. In contrast, cutaneous nerve innervation refers to the distribution of peripheral nerves, which branch off from nerve roots to supply sensation to the skin.
