Food vs Exercise

Fascia di prezzo: da €35.00 a €195.00Incl. delivery

Food is the most abused anxiety drug — while exercise remains one of the least utilised antidepressants.

This Care Statement poster highlights a common modern coping pattern. When people feel stressed, overwhelmed or anxious, food often becomes a quick source of comfort. Emotional eating can temporarily reduce stress, yet it rarely addresses the underlying cause and may contribute to long-term health problems. At the same time, one of the most effective natural mood regulators is frequently overlooked: movement and exercise. Physical activity has been shown to support mental wellbeing, improve mood regulation, reduce anxiety and strengthen resilience to stress. Despite these benefits, exercise is still underutilised as a tool for mental health.

Rather than criticising behaviour, this artwork invites reflection. The contrast between food and exercise encourages patients to reconsider everyday coping strategies and to recognise how simple lifestyle choices can influence emotional wellbeing. Displayed in treatment rooms, consultation spaces or reception areas, the poster sparks instant recognition. It often becomes a natural starting point for conversations about lifestyle, stress management and preventive health strategies.

The design follows the recognisable educare.design visual language: bold photography, refined typography and a vibrant colour palette that integrates naturally into modern clinics and wellness environments. The result is a striking visual statement that communicates an important message about mental health, lifestyle and self-care.
