Amputations & Prosthetic Pressure Distribution Set

Price range: €90,00 through €365,00

Set of 3 charts with Levels of Amputations (middle) and Pressure-Sensitive and Pressure-Tolerant Areas (left and right).

Understanding amputation levels is essential for both clinicians and individuals with limb loss. This visual guide provides a clear, detailed breakdown of various amputation levels, from partial foot to forequarter amputation. Designed for quick reference, it highlights key anatomical landmarks for pressure distribution in prosthetic sockets.

Whether you’re a healthcare professional educating patients or someone looking to better understand amputation classification, this chart serves as an essential resource. Central chart has a clear illustration with levels of amputations and on each side of this illustration, you have the identifiers and reference numbers corresponding to the numbered pressure sensitive/tolerant areas, as seen on the chart to the left and the chart to the right.

Amputations lead to changes in body mechanics and weight distribution, necessitating the use of prosthetics to restore function. Our Prosthetic Pressure Distribution Set is crucial for understanding how forces are distributed across the residual limb and the prosthetic interface. Proper assessment and design of these systems help minimise issues such as skin irritation and bone discomfort, enhancing overall comfort and mobility for amputees.

Free customisation with your clinic’s name.
For this set of artwork we offer to add your clinic’s name (or website address) for free! The name will go instead of the current sub-headline on the three artworks; view an illustration of this in the image gallery.
