Cervical Pop
The Cervical Pop artwork takes the upper spine — precise, mobile, structurally complex — and distils it into colour and form. Based on anatomically accurate cervical vertebrae, the structure is simplified into layered shapes and balanced segmentation, preserving proportion while removing explanation.
The artwork retains the true architectural rhythm of the cervical spine: the smaller vertebral bodies, the distinctive transverse processes, the subtle stacking that allows such extraordinary mobility. Yet instead of labels and landmarks, you see geometry, contrast, and flow. The result feels intentional rather than instructional. It signals expertise without asking for attention. Hung in a treatment room or reception space, it suggests what you work with every day — alignment, motion, precision — without turning the wall into a textbook.
There is something quietly amusing about transforming the most movement-dependent region of the spine into a still composition. That tension is deliberate. The cervical spine may enable rotation, flexion, extension — but here it simply holds its posture, confidently.
Cervical Pop does not explain biomechanics. It honours them — in colour.
The Complete Spine, Reconstructed in Colour.
Together, Cervical Pop, Thoracic–Lumbar Pop, and Sacrum Pop form a vertically complete spinal interpretation — clinically accurate in proportion, abstract in presentation, and unified by colour segmentation that transforms structure into atmosphere. 🔥 Get the full set with a 25% discount here.
