Vertebrae Pop Set

Set of 3.
The Vertebrae Pop Set takes one of the most structurally precise elements of the human body and translates it into pure visual language. Three individual vertebrae are simplified, abstracted, and rebuilt through layered colour fields and geometric segmentation, creating a triptych that feels architectural rather than anatomical. The forms are recognisable, but only just — enough to signal intent without becoming instructional.

This is not a teaching chart, and it doesn’t try to be. There are no labels, no directional arrows, no carefully numbered landmarks. Instead, the emphasis is on balance, proportion, and rhythm. Hung side by side, the three panels create a subtle sense of alignment across the wall — a quiet nod to spinal structure without turning your reception area into a lecture hall.

The colour palette gives the work its personality. Bold but controlled, playful but disciplined, it introduces energy into a space that might otherwise lean overly clinical. It acknowledges what you do — work with structure, movement, stability — without spelling it out. Patients may not consciously analyse it, but they will feel the intention behind it.

There is a certain irony in taking something as biomechanically serious as a vertebra and allowing it to be expressive. That tension is deliberate. Clinics today are not just treatment spaces; they are environments. And environments benefit from design that signals expertise without overwhelming the room.

The Vertebrae Pop Set doesn’t explain the spine. It simply celebrates it — in colour, form, and confidence.
