Always here for you!

Are you at that anxiety-inducing time, where you are considering opening your own clinic? Perhaps you already have, but you feel like it is time for a reset or a visual do-over? In either case; you’ve clicked the right page here at www.educare.design and we will always be happy to bounce a few ideas around with you. Just contact us for some creative perspective, it costs nothing and it might end up in a beautiful new friendship!

Aligned interests.
We want the exact same thing as you, so our interests are already aligned! We both want to provide the very best experience for your patients and we both want to see your field of healthcare elevated. You work to achieve this goal, first and foremost, through patient care. We achieve it by making patients interaction with your clinic as educative and appealing as we can.

Our designs are founded in a set of rules; they need to attract, be educative, be customisable, and be available in versions that fit real-world application. On this website you can read all about what we mean with each of those rules, but here we want to go through how they apply to our service for new clinics. If you are reading this, you probably like our artworks and approach to design. Let’s assume that’s the case and look at how we can help your clinic get ready for your patients:

Hearing about your clinic.
Before anything, your new patients need to know that you exist. There are boundless ways to reach out, but they need to fit your particular service, your “target group”, your location, and your budget. Changes are against finding any solution that achieves all needs, without some level of customisation. Together we can look at options and propose a solution scaled to your needs.

There is one universally tried and true platform with low cost and good reach, which is social media. It works and should always be employed, but your content needs to be engaging and of a constant volume. You will have a million things on your mind during this stage (and for eternity), so we created our SocialReels and SocialClips specifically to assist with content. Not to take social media entirely out of your hands, but to have ready-to-post content available for those days, where you simply don’t have time or energy to create something from scratch.

First contact.
Once we have determined how new patients first hear about you, we need to look at what they see (how your clinic is presented). This encompasses every part of your clinics visual identity; everything from logo to signage, business cards, website, etc. Since you are visiting www.educare.design, we can assume that you already understand the value and importance of this.

We can help setup your new visual identity and ensure that it reflects your goals and budget. We have done this countless times for all sorts of companies and we are (obviously) particularly well suited to create designs for healthcare practitioners. You will find our approach to this stage very relaxed; we basically only need a conversation with you to get started. Our usual procedure is to present you with some initial designs and then adjust those until you are satisfied. It’s not rocket science, but it’s proportionately as equally important to you (and therefore also to us)!

First patient.
So… we got your patients interested and we got you looking good. Now it’s time to greet patients as they enter your new clinic. What are first impressions and how are they shaped? This includes everything from signage, artworks, staff, ambience and “functional environment” (setup of reception, waiting room, hallways, treatment rooms, etc). Let’s start with reception and waiting room:

Reception/Waiting room.
Most clinics are limited with space and therefore have a combined reception and waiting room. However your clinic’s setup is, our recommendation remains the same for this part of your clinic’s space. Use it to set the tone. If you don’t it will still set the tone, but probably not what you intended! This space is crucial to get your patients to align with the value of your clinic. Upon entering they immediately get a sense of professionalism (or lack thereof). Make it a safe space where they can explore their natural curiosity towards your healthcare field – and where you can counter their equally natural skepticism towards your ability to “fix their ailments” and meet their needs.

Our Better Care Awareness artworks are a great way to leave a lasting first impression. Same goes for our waiting room videos, if you have access to a screen at your clinic. Both products are customisable with your logo, they are engaging and they manage to educate without being to (boringly) direct about it. We have furthermore created different artworks specific to chiropractors, osteopaths and physiotherapists.

Transitional spaces.
This space is your secondary spaces like hallways and changing rooms. They are often overlooked, but are actually a prime space to continue the tone of the clinic. A transitional space is not the right place for education, but it can be useful for displaying something attention grabbing with strong impact. Consider custom made wallpaper, ideally something like our vintage anatomy artworks – they are excellent in a large wallpaper format. Since hallways rarely have furniture or shelves it can be a great place to fully take advantage of the flat vertical surfaces.

Consultation room.
Welcome patients into the absolute primary room of your clinic. This is were you take a step forwards, and we take a step back (all the way to the walls). Some healthcare practitioners like to get patients in and out as fast as possible, while others prefer to take their time. There really is no right or wrong, as long as your patients leave this room more optimistic than when they entered!

We are in no position to advise you on the way you deal with patients, but our anatomy and physiology artworks can assist you as much (or as little) as you need. They can be used as actively as you want; by functioning as a talking point during you patient interactions – or they can hang as silent partners to be occasionally pointed at, when a patient asks a question related to anatomy or a specific ailment. Our point is, that you know better than us which real-life application works best for you and our artworks are expressly designed to educate patients, without requiring any handholding. Furthermore; each A&P artwork can be ordered with our QR Code feature that allows patients to take home digital versions for further study!

❤️ Without you, we are nothing…
We talk about why our artworks should be considered in greater detail here, but to conclude our pitch to you – perhaps as a proud owner of a new clinic – we just wanted to emphasise how important your success is to us. Without your clinic’s growth, we can’t exist! Our defining vision is to elevate, excite and educate, and if we don’t apply this vision successfully to our customers, then all our reviews must be wrong!

If anything above gave you some valuable input and if you’d like to engage with us for some more, then please contact Kasper at shop@educare.design. Thank you.
