Zone Technique with Systems, Functions & Symptoms of Imbalance
The Zone Technique represents a healing approach aimed at harmonising brain function and spinal alignment, thereby optimising bodily performance. Envision the body as a sophisticated electrical network, with the brain serving as the circuit breaker that regulates the nerves extending throughout the body.
There are six specific points located along the superior nuchal line of the skull, each corresponding to one of the six health zones that govern the major organ systems. During embryonic development, the human brain establishes six centers that play a crucial role in health maintenance. The foundation of the Zone Technique is the belief that the brain must transmit appropriate signals to the body to achieve balance and wellness.
The six organ systems that this technique addresses include:
Zone 1: Glandular System
Zone 2: Eliminative System
Zone 3: Nervous System
Zone 4: Digestive System
Zone 5: Muscular System
Zone 6: Circulatory System
The six regulatory brain centers often refer to key areas of the brain involved in homeostasis and regulatory functions, such as the hypothalamus, pituitary gland, brainstem, limbic system, thalamus, and the cerebral cortex. These centers regulate vital processes including temperature control, hormone release, emotional responses, and autonomic functions. Together, they coordinate the body’s responses to internal and external stimuli, ensuring stability and proper physiological functioning.
We have designed this artwork to assist the medical professionals in the education of their patients. Color coding of each regulatory brain center, combined with the use of iconography, greatly helps to simplify Zone Technique without compromising on comprehensive content.
