About the design

What constitutes “good design”? We believe it is any form of visual messaging that reaches and influences its intended audience, while staying within clearly defined boundaries and rules. So, what does that mean? In the case of our artworks; it means to have the visuals generate interest, educate with clear and cohesive content while offering you a versatile and inexpensive medium that helps you achieve your goals (to improve patient understanding while optimising your workday).

Visuals that generate interest.
To see if our designs have meet those criteria, we should break down each of them for a closer look. First of all; to have visuals generate interest. Our artworks attract interest and generate curiosity. They draw the viewers closer and communicate on an even level, instead of pushing them away with a complicated “text-book approach”. We understand that health care professionals want to convey professionalism and authority through knowledge, but our design seeks to plant the first vital seeds of comprehension. When it comes to most patients, you already know that the first step is the hardest. Good design can help with that!

Educate with clear and cohesive content.
Let’s discuss the second criteria; to educate with clear and cohesive content. None of our designs have any elements that are not strictly needed to convey the specific message intended. This is done to avoid clutter and to ensure, that your patient will have the optimal chance of understanding the subject matter, even in the relative short time spent at your medical office. The artworks are furthermore designed to be “cohesive”, which means that when you approach and understand one, then you will be able to approach and understand all. This is never more clear than when you see two or more artworks hanging next to each other, (view examples below).

Versatile and inexpensive
Third criteria in what we believe makes good design are all about fitting your needs. Products are really only as good as their real-world usability and the affordability of the intended customer. Our artworks are available in 10 languages and are offered in a great variety of configurations (canvas, posters, rollup banners and more). They are furthermore customisable with your clinic’s logo, adding another unique level of versatility. All of the above is only found at this website and we constantly look for ways of improving. Finally, our research and reviews show us, that even though our artworks are at the high-end of quality, our prices are slightly below the average without also considering our free delivery guarantee!

About the designer

The designer behind educare.design is me, Kasper Smith. I’ve worked with brands such as Bang & Olufsen, MGM, 20th Century Fox, Sony, Northface, Royal Danish Navy and Unicef. Since 2010 I have specialised in working with health care professionals with the goal of advancing knowledge of non-invasive care.

This lead me to develop a great number of designs that eventually turned into the artworks seen here at educare.design. All artworks are developed in cooperation with whomever in my extensive network that can bring the most relevant knowledge to the subject matter. I am proud to work side by side with chiropractors, osteopaths, physiotherapists and I never overlook including their patients in the development of the artworks.

I am Danish, but located at Lake Como in Northern Italy where I live with my wife and son.

My sincere thanks for your interest!
Kasper, shop@educare.design
