Rather than presenting anatomy as isolated structures, it frames each joint within its functional role \u2014 where it sits, how it moves, and why its design matters. From the acromioclavicular joint and temporomandibular joint to the hip, knee and subtalar joints, each region is positioned within the broader mechanics of the skeleton.<\/p>\n

The left side of the chart grounds the viewer in applied anatomy: location, joint type and essential movement capacity. The right side expands the perspective by introducing the six synovial joint classifications \u2014 hinge, pivot, saddle, ellipsoid, plane and ball-and-socket \u2014 translating structural form into mechanical behaviour.
