This artwork highlights the structural spine in posterior view, paired with a structured listing of spinal nerve levels displayed along the right side of the design. Each segment \u2014 from cervical to coccygeal \u2014 is visually connected to the anatomical regions and organ systems influenced by its corresponding nerve pathways.<\/p>\n

Spinal nerves emerge from the spinal cord and act as bidirectional communication channels. Sensory fibres transmit information from peripheral tissues to the brain, while motor fibres carry regulatory signals from the brain back to muscles, glands and internal organs. Through this continuous exchange, the nervous system coordinates voluntary movement, postural stability, autonomic regulation and sensory perception.<\/p>\n

The design emphasises segmental organisation. Cervical levels influence head, neck and upper limb function. Thoracic levels relate closely to thoracic organs and trunk stability.
