Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

25130

Artistic visualisation of a human wrist with carpal tunnel syndrome.

Carpal tunnel syndrome is a condition that affects the hand and arm, causing numbness, tingling, and weakness. It occurs when the median nerve, which runs from the forearm into the hand, becomes compressed or squeezed at the wrist. It can result from repetitive hand movements, such as typing or using tools, and is also associated with certain medical conditions. The overall design and concept of this artwork has been to draw immediate focus to the affected areas. It will assist you at the clinic in illustrating the origin of pain symptoms and the design has been created for its self-explanatory ability to highlight a common ailment.
