Lymphatic System

Lymphatic system, associated organs and the “rub, tap and stroke” exercise technique.
This artwork is an introduction of the lymphatic system’s importance to immune system function, as a transport of cellular waste and transport of digested fats to the cells. It has been designed to help patients understand the lymphatic system and its associated organs and it includes the increasingly popular lymphatic exercise technique; Rub, tap and stroke (frequently used with lymphatic drainage massage), which are indicated on artwork with blue circles. It furthermore clearly visualises the associated organs through use of iconographies that lends an educational playfulness to any clinic.
